The Islamic School of Rhode Island (ISRI), a non-profit full-time Islamic school, located in West Warwick, Rhode Island invites passionate full and part-time educators for its Pre-K to 8th Grade school.
IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in the education field)
- Teaching certification preferred
- Previous teaching experience
- Strong command of English Language, even for non-English subjects
- A BCI / background check from your local state office or police station
TEACHER’S RESPONSIBILITIES
Integrates Islamic value and behavior into classroom curriculum and daily school routine
Creates a positive, achievement-oriented learning environment that motivates students to realize high academic and behavioral standards
Must be dedicated, enthusiastic about working with children from diverse backgrounds, and in a collaborative environment
Exemplify ISRI’s mission in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues
